Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) is one of the country’s top academic medical centers, with 744 beds in Feinberg Pavilion, the Prentice Women’s Hospital and the Stone Institute of Psychiatry. NMH is the primary teaching hospital for Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. The hospital is home to a Level I Trauma Center, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as the area’s major referral center.
