Kristin Rothwell, Associate Editor
Kristin Rothwell, associate editor and production coordinator for TravelNursing.com, earned a journalism degree in 1999 from San Diego State University. She is a member of the Healthcare Communicators of San Diego chapter and the Society of Professional Journalists. In 2003, she won two first place awards from the Society of Professional Journalists of San Diego. Prior to joining TravelNursing.com in 2000, she was assistant editor for a government agency's internal magazine. She is associate editor and a feature writer for TravelNursing.com.
Christina Orlovsky, Senior Staff Writer
Since graduating from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in communications, Christina Orlovsky has spent seven years writing for numerous national magazines on health, relationships and other women's issues. Her work has appeared in such publications as Glamour, Ladies' Home Journal, Women's Health and Fitness and San Diego Magazine. As senior staff writer for TravelNursing.com, she covers news, technology and features on the health care industry.
Claire Brocato, Marketing Project Specialist
Upon graduating cum laude with a bachelor's degree in communications in her home country of South Africa, Claire Brocato worked in public relations and also spent three years as the editorial director of a national teen magazine, before moving to the United States. Since arriving in this country and prior to working at TravelNursing.com, she spent more than seven years working as a copywriter, technical writer and marketing communications specialist for two Southern California-based software companies. Claire joined the TravelNursing.com team in January 2003 as a feature writer and online content coordinator.
Judy Xi, Webmaster
Judy Xi is the Web master for TravelNursing.com. With five years of experience as a software engineer, she provides technical support to the TravelNursing.com group and its readers. She is also responsible for designing the Web site, maintaining the content management system and managing the technical process for the TravelNursing.com free e-newsletter.
Tom Gutman, Director of Print Advertising
Tom Gutman is the director of print advertising for TravelNursing.com. Tom joined the TravelNursing.com team two years ago with a background in travel nurse marketing and advertising. He has received both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Dayton.
Dean Orman, Online Advertising Specialist
Dean Orman graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He worked as a media planner and analyst at San Francisco-based advertising agencies including, Left Field, Murder Incorporated and Odiorne, Wilde, Narraway & Partners. After working as a contract consultant with Yahoo!'s internal advertising group, he joined TravelNursing.com to handle Internet advertising and analysis for the company.
